This list of the best 90s dance songs was HARD work to make! Having to leave out so many great songs left us on the brink of tears.

Fighting and debating about which songs deserved a place in the top 100 90's dance songs, and which would have to just miss out. Many songs had great cases for inclusion, but only the 100 finest made the cut.

Even when we had 100 songs we had to keep making changes, "How can this song be in the top 100 but not this one?" And so the debates went on.

But the choices were eventually made in the end, and you are seeing the end result of this process. You're seeing 90s dance hits, rave classics, Ibiza favourites and down to the floor magic anthems!

Dance Hits Or Not

You will find when you peruse this list that not all the songs were no 1's or chart dominating hits, although a great many were. This was not the intention.

These are the songs that make you want to get on the floor, are fondly remembered and bring back special memories.

If you are holding a dance party anytime soon, you would be well advised to select at least a few of these favourites.

You will recognize many of these songs, and some of them you may not have heard for many years. They will quickly become favourites again as you remember how great they were and still are.
